All Private Sector Nurses and Midwives - please check your Award or Enterprise Agreement

Nurses Award 2020 - For all employees is 200% of your ordinary hourly rate for all ordinary shifts worked on a public holiday

Nurses Award 2010 - Personal Care Workers receive 250% for working Easter public Holidays

South Australia

Public Health

• Permanent 
  •  Working - Paid 250% and replaces any shift or weekend penalties
  • Rostered Off
    • 7-Day - Good Friday & Easter Monday, you will receive a day’s pay on an average 28 day cycle.
    • Other Permanent  - If you would normally work this day and don’t due to public holiday, you will receive your regular pay
    • 5-day - you are not entitled to Easter Saturday

• Casual 
  • Working - Paid 175% of your hourly rate, which includes your 25% casual loading.
