Christmas Holiday Pay Rates for Applicable for SA Health/NT Health/Public Sector Employees:

24th December 2023 (Sunday) - Christmas Eve

From 7pm - 12am (250%) - South Australia & Northern Territory

25th December 2023 (Monday) - Christmas Day

Working - 200% - South Australia & Northern Territory
Normally rostered, then paid 100% ordinary wage

26th December 2023 (Tuesday) - Boxing Day

Working - 200% - South Australia & Northern Territory
Normally rostered, then paid 100% ordinary wage

31st December 2023 (Sunday) - New Years Eve

From 7pm - 12am (250%) - South Australia & Northern Territory

1st January 2024 (Monday) - New Years Day

Working - 200% - South Australia & Northern Territory
Normally rostered, then paid 100% ordinary wage

Private & Aged Care - Your public holiday entitlements within the private sector will vary depending upon your employer and award and/or enterprise agreement.
